Firearm Restoration Pricing & Bench Consultation Rates

Shop Quality Standards & Workmanship

We do not run a high-volume "dip-and-buff" shop. Whether refinishing a field gun or restoring a vintage classic, our focus is preserving flat metal surfaces, keeping factory lines razor-sharp, and protecting original roll stamps and markings. Every job is completed to exacting standards to ensure you receive excellent value for your investment.

Premium Historical Restoration Evaluations

Premium historical restorations—including period-correct bone charcoal case hardening, Carbonia bluing, and rust bluing for soft soldered barrels—are never one-size-fits-all. Every vintage firearm carries a unique history of wear, pitting, past refinishing attempts, and structural considerations that require hands-on analysis.

Firm estimates are provided only after we have the firearm in hand and can evaluate its condition for the requested work.

Every firearm arrives with its own condition, history, and reason for being restored. Tell us what you have and what the firearm means to you. We’ll help determine the appropriate level of work without pushing the project beyond what it needs.

The prices below are starting estimates. A firm estimate is provided after we receive and personally inspect the firearm. Condition, previous refinishing, corrosion, damaged geometry, altered markings, welding, parts replacement and mechanical repairs may affect the final price.

Premium Complete Refinishing

Complete commercial refinishing for working firearms and modern heirlooms. These baselines include normal disassembly, the stated metal preparation, finishing, reassembly and a function and safety inspection. Full period-correct restorations are individually quoted after inspection.
