At RGS Restorations, we understand that sometimes a "factory style" reblue or refinish is all that's required. We are not going to try and up-sell you on services your firearm does not need or require. Therefore we break our services into a few different groups, to offer you the best fit for your particular need.

A factory style refinishing will include complete disassembly, along with the exact same careful metal prep and polishing that goes into our Historical Restorations, with the exception it generally requires much less time for this refinishing style. Also each firearm receives the same masterful application of the correct metal finish for each gun.

As always, we absolutely preserve factory lines, edges, and markings while correcting wear, corrosion, and reasonable levels of pitting. I can't stress how important this last step is. This is the single biggest detail that separates Master level refinishing from your average reblue. This style of refinishing is often the right choice for working firearms, inherited guns, shooters, and collectible pieces that deserve careful workmanship without requiring a full historical restoration.
